The Earth’s surface is a constantly evolving interplay between multiple interacting geophysical systems. As a researcher, I am interested in how the cryosphere and landscape systems evolve together over a range of spatial and temporal scales, and how climate can both force and be forced by these interactions in the past, present, and future.

As an educator, I am passionate about using the natural environment to connect students and their daily lives to the earth systems around them. The rocks beneath our feet and the processes operating on them provide an important perspective on our past, present, and future worlds
